Smarter Journey Presets and Fleet Map, Powered by TomTom and GraphHopper

7 October 2026

What if your WiFi knew where your bus was, and what the road was doing?

We just shipped a big upgrade to Journey Presets and the Fleet Map in ISN Free WiFi. It now runs on two routing engines that back each other up: TomTom and GraphHopper.

Here is what a bus or taxi company can do with it today:

Price a whole route in minutes. Drop 6 stops on a map and get the driving time for every leg. Set the real timetable time for each stop, and the system follows the one rule every bus follows: it does not leave a stop before its timetable time.

Fare suggestions. Enter a price per km and a minimum, and every leg gets a suggested fare. You always set the final price.

Access that matches the journey. One bundle per stop, priced as a running total, with the access time worked out from the timetable. Guests see "5 h 40 min", not "5.67 hours".

Delays stop costing passengers their WiFi. If a bus is stuck in traffic, access is extended just enough to reach the passenger's stop, using the bus's live position and live traffic.

A guest sees only what they need. "Next stop: Kroonstad in about 18 min". Never a map, never a position, and only while they are actually on that bus. If someone tries to follow a bus they are not on, they see nothing and the owner is told.

A punctuality report. On-time results per stop and per weekday, and the legs that usually run slower than planned at a given hour, so the timetable can be fixed with real data.

A better Fleet Map. Street and satellite views, live traffic, road incidents like accidents and road works with proper icons, a "jump to my location" button, street names and trails for each bus.

Two engines, one result. TomTom brings live traffic. GraphHopper takes over when TomTom has no answer for a place, and the other way round. In testing on a Bloemfontein to Pretoria route, both agreed within 16% on every leg, and the system carried on when we deliberately broke one key.

Every operator uses their own keys, so your usage and your allowance stay yours.

We built it and tested it end to end on a 6-stop route. Now we want it on real roads.

If you run a fleet, a shuttle service or a venue with moving parts, I would love to hear what you would want from it.
